When I first started this blog I could never have dreamed of how far reaching it would be across the world. Of course I knew the power of the internet makes this possible but I never thought that people all around the world would be interested in what I write on my little blog here in the UK. When I look at my stats tool which shows me where people are visiting from and I see visitors from all over I’m overwhelmed, I really am. And I get excited each time a new spot on the map appears ‘look, look, I had a visitor from Hawaii!’ I tell Rob, with a big smile on my face. Your visits delight me and I’d like to take this opportunity to extend a very warm welcome to you all. We may not always ‘speak’ but I know you’re there and I’m very, very pleased that you are.
Here are some of the places visitors have come from over the last two days:
Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, New South Wales (Australia) ~ Las Vegas, California, Florida, New Jersey, Virginia, Washington, Hawaii (USA) ~ Finland ~ South Africa ~ Spain ~ Canada ~ Slovakia ~ Portugal ~ New Zealand ~ Belgium ~ India ~ Thailand

Howdy Julia,
…as we say in the great state of Texas! I found your blog via a del.icio.us tag and wanted to tell you that I think it is absolutely delightful!! I just browsed a few of your posts and have added you to my blog reader. I look forward to following your blog!
BTW-I was in London last year in July 09; after looking at your pics of the borough market and your cycle trip in the countryside I am ready to go back for another visit!
I also look forward to trying some of your cooking tips!
Regards,
Novella Byrd
Julia,
Greetings from Chattanooga, Tennessee! I adore your blog, and I'm not even a cook! I am a nurse and would-be writer who needed help in writing a scene describing the gourmet food that was served in a certain restaurant- wanted it to be authentic, so searched out a cooking blog. I've gotten hooked on this, and you're getting me closer and closer to actually approaching a stove!
(Hopefully, no fire will be involved, should this happen)
All the best!
Cheri Grubbs
Hey guys, thanks so much for all your lovely comments, I'm so pleased to see you all here!
Cheri – that's fantastic to hear! I hope you do approach a stove very soon, and write back and let me know how you get on!
Love to you all x
